Exp. #195 Big Bird
Northstar’s Exp. #195 Big Bird is a dense, highly saturated cadmium yellow developed as a bolder alternative to our classic NS-063 Canary. Featuring a slightly darker, richer yellow hue, this experimental formula was designed with increased opacity and color density in mind.
The added density makes Big Bird an excellent choice for vacuum-stacked lined tubing, millefiori, thin applications, and detailed work where strong color saturation is desired.
Working Note: Big Bird is an advanced, heat-sensitive color. Due to its dense cadmium-based formula, it requires slow, even preheating and gentle flame settings. Avoid aggressive heat to prevent boiling or surface scarring.
Exp #195 Big Bird is a dense, cadmium-based yellow. This color is sensitive to excessive or aggressive heat and may boil or develop surface scarring if overheated. For best results, preheat slowly and evenly using a cool, gentle flame, gradually increasing heat as needed. Avoid prolonged exposure to intense heat to maintain a smooth, vibrant finish.
